The Examination

Woke up at around 7am. Slept last night quite ill so this dream felt like a nightmare. 

I was in the class. I seem to be in the middle of an examination. My teacher, Miss Yati who is a real former teacher. I remembered that I failed her past examination so she gave me another chance to attend this examination with the new batch of students. I looked at the question asking about writing an essay about some Chinese thing so I jolted down some points. Then a was distracted and began talking to the student beside me. Before I know it, examination time has ended. I was shocked as I have not really wrote even a proper paragraph. The little points I wrote down were in Chinese language. What was I thinking! My teacher can't read Chinese language! I had to do something, I had to write more! I quickly forced my brain to think of what to write then I saw the teacher left the classroom. She has collected all the student's exam paper and did not waited for me.

I quickly ran out of the classroom grabbing my exam paper trying to catch up to her to hand it to her. However, she was nowhere on sight. I quickly walked to the faculty to look for her office but then I was distracted again as soon as I reached the faculty building. There is this large pond in front of the faculty. A large book floating on the water caught my eye. The front cover is facing me and it says "Beetles of the World" or maybe "Beetles of Borneo". It is quite a thick book and old-looking too. I lay open half submerged on the water surface. Strangely, there were real beetles - large black dung beetles feeding on the book. As I observed it, I think a guy swam over and entered the book. The book at slowly moved and grew into a van. I saw the man as the driver in the book van as he drove the van out of the deep pond and drove away. I was really confused but I remembered what was I here for so I quickly continued my journey.

As I get closer to the building, another teacher that I know - Miss Tina, called out to me asking who am I looking for. She thought I was looking for Miss Maria from the Business Department but I said it's not her that I'm looking for. In real life, both of these teachers never taught me. Miss Tina is from the Business Department and Miss Maria is not. 

I finally got inside the building and at the foyer, I realized I was with two of my friends - Ho and another guy. Suddenly I saw a pink spider on the floor so I pointed it to them. I wanted to photograph it so I took out my camera and got down. It was moving around so it make photography tough. What a cool pink-colored spider I thought. But as I was photographing it, I realized that I am just photographing some kind of dark brown cockroach! 

And some point, I looked at my examination paper and was shocked to see that it is soaking wet and tearing apart. What a terrible condition it is in! How could I submit this to her! 

I was really feeling hopeless and guilty. I was given a second chance to pass the test but I threw it away again.

When I woke up, I felt so happy as it was just a dream. Thank you for reminding me to try my best in not failing the second chance I am given. 

Students' Hostel

Woke up at 10am. Still a bit sleepy, only had slightly more than 7 hours of sleep and I am also down with the flu. Remembered a strange dream I had which is made from a bunch of old memories. 

There is one scene where we were sitting together. We arranged chairs in a circle at sat facing each other, few of us. I recognize them as my former classmates from my Chinese high school. This seems to be a reunion. It seems that some of of them brought their parent so I tried my best to act cool and speak my best Chinese language.

Then in another scene, I was in a university students' hostel. There are several concrete buildings around me when I looked around. This place looks a little different from the hostel I used to stay. I went out of the paved path into the grasses to take something. Two girls students where standing behind me. Apparently they are twins, and they are using a camcorder to record me.

I just went on to take something on the ground. Can't remember what it is. I heard the twins are recording me to see whether my behaviour and movements are similar as theirs. While walking on the grass, I stepped on some mud and fell. I felt embarrassed that the twins are recording me. They must be chuckling.

I got up and saw how dirty I am so I decided to go for a bath. I walked up a hostel building and can't find my room. Instead, I reached the highest floor (about 3rd or 4th floor) and realized the whole floor is a kindergarten with toddlers in classrooms. There is a small grass field on this floor too for these kids to play in. I wondered how could it possible to have this large of a field on this narrow floor. It is physically impossible. I think the teacher came out and saw me and that made me embarrassed. I went down and realized the floor below is a kindergarten too! How come I never noticed this? There is also a grass field here.

I left the block, and went to another block. I then realized I was in my towel only covering the lower part of me. Since I am outside where there are students looking, especially girls, I sucked my belly in and made my torso look more muscular. When I passed between two blocks, I heard a girl's voice calling out to me. I looked up and saw two girls high up calling down at me. One of them is on the balcony while the other is crossing a sky bridge which connects the two female hostel.

Oh No! Girls! I am extra embarrassed when girls see my body. I waved back and began walking fast as they still keep on calling me loudly. This is actually what I face in real life where some of the more friendly and outgoing girls like to keep on shouting at my name from a distance. 

I think I finally found a public toilet where I can finally have a good bath. Then not sure what happened after that before I woke up.
