I can't remember the rest but I remember one clearly
I was in my room at my study desk late at night minding my own business.
Suddenly my fire detector device alarmed me of a fire.
I looked outside, looked around, there are no fires.
I heard some burning sounds next door and suddenly flames went through the wall
and entered my room since our houses are joined together.
The flames were getting larger so I shouted "FIRE! FIRE!!!" to wake my family up.
I took my valuable goods with me - my hard disk filled with valuable data, my document files and my memory box down. I saw my mum sleeping on the sofa so I tried to wake her up.
I woke her so that she could help me wake up the rest of the family members but to my dismay,
she tried to say things like "Don't disturb me" "don't disturb the others when they are sleeping" "there is no fire, go back to sleep". She tried to convince me there is nothing to worry.
I shook her really hard and shouted at her how serious the problem is.
She opened her eye and show a frightened look.
My heart fell when she said:
"Please don't wake us up! Don't disturb the others! It is better to die painlessly
in our sleep than to die suffering from the flames when we are conscious."
I cannot believe what I have just heard!
I paused for few seconds in disbelief, then I decided that if I cannot save my family,
I will save the whole house to save them all.
With all my might and spirit, I ran to the washroom to get some water.
I plan to extinguish all the flames myself if I had to.
I guess I have to fight alone on this one
Somehow I did not dream what happened after that and woke up.
