the long Ride and frequent Stops

Woke up about around 10 am. Had a really long dream, in fact, I remember having two long dreams the whole night!

The first time I woke up was between 5 and 6 am after having a long dream. I remembered most of the dream. It is about me back in my school.

I was outside my lecture hall with some friends. Some were rushing on an assignment. Then I realized I still have unfinished assignments and exams left so I panicked. I thought everything was completed.

In reality, I have finished my exams and assignments already so I am currently on my holiday now.

I felt something is wrong with this world so I thought really hard. I come to think whether this is a dream or reality. Everything seems so real. Then, I suddenly came to a thought whether I have even been in a coma. Because I seem to have forgotten a large part of my life. I tried to think hard whether I had any head injuries but I cannot seem to remember properly.

In fact, this is the only part of the dream I remember now but back then (few hours ago) I remembered very well. Oh well, let's just move on to the second dream.

This time I am away from school. I am in a roadside fruit stall, looking at some weird fruits. I saw some small green hairy round fruits which reminds me of "balls".  I felt funny looking at them.

Then, somehow I remembered that I needed to go to a distant place. I think it is Balung.

I dreamed about this because my mum keeps talking about going there for the past 2 days.

Somehow I get the fruit stall keeper to send me there in her small old white van. The stall keeper is a tall middle-aged Chinese lady with long black hair and bad temper (always frowning and nagging). She drove me and a young girl which was quiet throughout the dream so I did not notice her well. I think she is either my sister or the lady's daughter.

I dreamt about the lady because last night I was wondering about why my neighbor can be that grumpy.

Anyway, it was a long way to Balung and we made lots of stops. At home stop, the lady went out to somewhere. There is another guy in the van too, not sure when did he enter. Looks like a foreigner. We were talking about something then I realized the van was moving. The lady has left without putting on the brakes! I quickly jumped to the front left seat (although the driver seat is on the right). I dived head first and reached for the brakes with my arm. I pressed the brakes hard until the van slowly stops. I was really angry at the old lady for causing such a huge risk towards us. What makes me angrier is the fact that the woman does not apologized and seems angry about it.

Another time, The lady left us again parked next to an oil palm plantation. The van started to move again on its own slowly going down the slope, increasing in velocity. I quickly pressed the foot brakes again but the van was not slowing down in time. We were approaching a small cliff in front in an alarming speed.

Although I have no experience in driving car, I do know that the handbrakes were the most powerful brakes. So I reached out to the handbrakes by my side and pulled it up with full force. The van stopped just about a meter or two from falling of the cliff. Phew!

When we started leaving the oil palm plantation, I saw a huge elephant in the plantation with several people around it. Maybe it is used to work in the plantation? We carried on driving slowly.

Another stop. I have visions about proboscis monkeys climbing on mangrove trees just over the water.

This time, the driver brought her relatives, a big group of them. Everyone tried to fit in this small van! Somehow everyone managed to squeeze into the van tightly and we slowly proceed to Balung.

45. That is how many person you can fit into a van.

Well, we did not reach Balung but I woke up. That was a weird dream indeed.
